Rosemont Inn & Cottages

“The best B & B that we've stayed in a long while...Great Breakfast and Room”
JSMURRAY49   OSAGE BEACH, MO

What a wonderful experience the Rosemont B & B was for us while in Little Rock to see the Clinton Museum. The building has character, comfortably decorated, good sized rooms and best of all -- a tasty breakfast that was filling. The owner, Susan, is delightful and helpful. We had been burned at other places around the country with poor breakfast selection or quantity. The Rosemont understands that Bed and Breakfast means that the guests get a great breakfast -- as well as a great bed. Susan gets it and provided the whole package.

What a relaxing and enjoyable retreat! My former college roommate and long-time friend sat by the fireplace curled in our chairs and talked and laughed the night away catching up on news. The attention given to the guests and their needs was incredible. The decor and the Inn are just as incredible. We recommend that you stay and see for yourself.

My husband and I have spent three weekends at the Rosemont over the last year and a half and always look forward to going back! It is so relaxing and the Inn is beautiful. We have stayed in the Hemmingway Room all three visits....it has the best bathtub I've ever been in. The bed is so comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows. The Breakfast in Bed option had made the trip even better since we don't have to hurry and get dressed in the morning. I would highly recommend a trip to the Rosemont. You will be well cared for.

I stayed in the Rosemont Inn B&B during jury duty in Little Rock and it was a WONDERFUL experience. Susan is a lovely hostess and makes you feel right at home. Susan had lit a fire in the fireplace on my arrival and the room was charming, with its four poster bed, the crackling fire in the fireplace making the room so cozy. Everything was clean and artistically arranged with thoughtful details to make the stay more comfortable. The Jacuzzi and shower worked well, the fridge was stocked with snacks and ice, and the breakfast was delicious always! Rosemont was convenient to the courthouse where I had jury duty, close to the River Market district (full of restaurants), and not far at all from the art museum and the Pharaoh exhibition. Thanks Susan, for a great stay at your B&B.

I stayed here during a 24-hour trip to Little Rock and it will be my choice for accommodation any time I'm in the city. The house is in a beautiful historic neighborhood near the Governor's mansion, great for walking around, but it's also just a short drive to the center of downtown or the Clinton Presidential Library, or a slightly longer drive to areas like Hillcrest. The room was charming and impeccable. The owner, Susan Maddox, is gracious and she prepares a fantastic breakfast (pecan waffles and delicious fruit salad were my favorite). As a native, she provides a wealth of knowledge about the city and its sights. And all of this was available at a fantastic rate. For the same price or probably more, I could have stayed in a bland chain hotel downtown, but without any of the perks. I highly recommend Rosemont. My ratings for this hotel is 4 Stars!

Fabulous luxury! The rooms were themed with different designs and you can tell it took a lot of thought and time. Our bed was comfy and cozy and the Jacuzzi tub was AMAZING! The food was really good and the service was delightful!

We go to the Rosemont every April to meet my best friend and her husband. The service is great and the breakfast we are served every morning is just fabulous - make sure you request the "to die for" French toast!!!! The rooms are always clean and comfortable. I always feel so special every time I go! Ms. Susan, the Inn Keeper has become like a part of my family!!!

We have stayed at the Rosemont Inn four times. Each time we received the excellent service and accommodations. Susan always treats you like royalty. The Rosemont is the only place we will stay when visiting Little Rock.

We stayed in the Hayward Cottage and found the innkeeper, Susan, to have paid attention to detail throughout. The comfortable bed and white linens were of the highest quality, the decor was a perfect blend of antiques and modern features that make the cottage appealing to men and women. The garden is well landscaped and provided a welcome breath of fresh air. Not that the cottage doesn't have central air and a gas fireplace, it has that too. Cottage amenities include large soaking tubs, honey shampoo, down duvet covers...too many great things to list. I you've stayed in a 5-star hotel, you have an idea of what I am talking about. As an experienced traveler who has seen the good, bad, and the ugly, I would recommend Rosemont and Rosehaven Cottages without hesitation to anyone considering

We found this charming downtown property to be moderately priced, well-maintained and very comfortable. The innkeeper-owner, Susan, is a welcoming hostess and a culinary star. Most importantly, if you are traveling with small dogs or cats who are used to a "home" environment, this is the place to stay. Our two Maltese just loved it!!!

An exceptional bed and breakfast, Rosemont has the charm of its Little Rock Victorian roots with beautifully designed rooms and all the amenities you would need including complete internet access.
The host/owner/chef, Susan, is an absolute delight who makes a business stay or vacation visit as comfortable as possible. The gardens in the back of the B&B are also lovely and comfortable. The B& B is centrally located with easy access to downtown, the airport and other areas. Whether on business or pleasure, there is not a more lovely or comfortable place to stay in Little Rock than the Rosemont B&B. Triple A rating if there is one!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Rosemont. The inn and innkeeper definitely made us feel at home and very welcomed. Everything was beautiful and the service was great. When we return to Little Rock we will be back, and will recommend Rosemont Inn to anyone we know coming to the area.

Stayed in the St. Claire which is a great room with plenty of space, but cozy and romantic. Also, guests have full access to the sitting areas within the house. Also, fridge was stocked with drinks and snacks, which was great. Location was perfect, close to downtown with easy access to major freeways. Service was incredible; any requests we had were thoughtfully and fully accommodated by the Rosemont staff. We did the breakfast in bed option, which cost a little extra, but worth it … fabulous food. We will stay at Rosemont again anytime we come back to Little Rock!

This beautiful home welcomes and beckons you to come and enjoy your stay from the moment you enter the driveway. The pictures do not "speak a thousand words" the inn is so much more. My friends and I felt we had stepped back in time and each room through out the 1880 farmhouse was unique and such a pleasure to explore. Our breakfast each morning was delicious and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests in the dining area. We met lovely people during our stay at Rosemont and we look forward to returning in the near future.

We recently traveled to Little Rock to visit the Clinton Library and take in the sights of Little Rock …what a great city to visit—highly recommend. And the highlight of our visit was staying at Rosehaven Cottage. From the moment we stepped into the private foyer from our own private entrance, we felt at home. The bedroom was spacious, there was no shortage of pillows and blankets for the king-size bed. The perfectly decorated living room/dining/kitchen areas met every need, and who wouldn’t enjoy their own private backyard garden. The hostess with the mostess, Susan, will bring your breakfast to the cottage each morning so you can enjoy breakfast in private or in the garden, but we recommend dining with the other guests of Rosemont Bed and Breakfast. Either way, the food will be fabulous. The cottage had a great location so being able to walk to nearby places of interest was an option that we really enjoyed. We love bed and breakfasts, and Rosemont Inn and Rosehaven Cottages are at the top of our list!!

Our stay provided even more than we expected. The rooms were beautiful, the garden area just the right relaxing setting for visiting and drinking wine. The location was perfect. What turned out to be even better was that when the friends we came to see weren't able to find a hotel room due to a basketball tournament, Susan accommodate them. Since our friends stayed at Rosemont as well, we were able to spend more time with them at breakfast and catch up. Susan was so gracious about extending her last room to them at the last minute and didn't bat an eye when she unexpectedly had 3 extra guests for breakfast. Between Susan and her staff, our stay was made very memorable.

This was our first time to stay in a bed and breakfast but my husband and I both agree that from now on these will be the only places we stay. We enjoyed the quiet peaceful atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious!! We loved our room and especially the warm cozy fireplace...Not to mention all of the amenities provided at an incredibly good price.

Overall, fantastic experience at Rosemont! My husband and I traveled with our 82 year old grandfather. The design of the house was perfect because he was able to enjoy a spacious room on the first floor (avoiding the beautiful, winding staircase that we so much enjoyed). The place is tastefi;;u done -- from the top quality design of the rooms to the delicious breakfasts (we stayed two nights)...and Susan does a great job of welcoming her guests and making the check-in/check-out process smooth. The location is ideal, too, if you're looking to check out the state capital, Little Rock Central High School, Bill Clinton's library or the River Market area. Couldn't have asked for more...

Rosemont is perfect in every way! Centrally located with easy access to everywhere in Little Rock, this Inn is charmingly decorated in an understated but very tasteful way. Every room is exceptionally comfortable, with all modern conveniences. Susan's food is superb. She is a non-intrusive hostess who thinks of everything to make her guests comfortable. Don't miss the garden - a real haven!

ArkansasPrincipal –Bismarck, Arkansas

Stay at Rosehaven Cottage and score major points with your wife and not feel overwhelmed by the usual feminine decorative overload associated with many B&Bs. We stayed in Winslow Cottage and it has just the right amount of 19th century charm, and period antiques mixed with a fireplace and massive soaking tub for two with subdued candlelight. Add to that a king bed with incredible bedding, a huge leather chair and ottoman, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a private entrance. Lots of space and privacy.

I must mention the ‘lady of the cottage”, Susan, a welcoming hostess and a culinary star. She is incredibly warm and inviting and cares deeply about ensuring your every comfort and need. I first met Susan when I stayed at the sister B&B, Rosemont Inn, on what was to become one of many business trips to Little Rock. She completely makes me, and often colleagues traveling with me, feel at home. Breakfast is nothing short of delicious and always homemade. Be sure and request my personal favorite, stuffed French toast, one of Susan’s specialties.

Rosehaven Cottage and sister B&B, Rosemont Inn, are the perfect selection for the guy looking for nice quiet accommodations with space to move about while on business or a great romantic getaway to impress your partner. Forget the so-called luxury hotels and the smoke-filled chain establishments and enjoy some true southern hospitality and comfort at Rosehaven Cottages or Rosemont Inn.

We could not have asked for a better honeymoon location. We stayed 7 days and that gives you plenty of time to discover flaws in the inn's service - we found none! Rosemont was so comfortable that it quickly became our home away from home. Each morning we had a gourmet breakfast …different each day! … in the midst of period furnishings with other guests who were easy to get to know. Our room was the prefect blend of comfort, charm, and modern amenities. It was spacious, clean, and had the most wonderful Jacuzzi tub imaginable! (Big enough for 2)

The inn's staff was helpful, polite, and efficient. They thought of everything from midnight snacks to area maps and guides to all the great places in Little Rock. The Rosemont is located within minutes of the trendy River Market District and only blocks from Highway 630 and, through that, any part of Little Rock that your heart desires. Little Rock, in general, is a fun place to visit for a weekend getaway and the Rosemont is definitely where we'll be staying when we go back!

My wife and I just returned from a weekend at the Rosemont in Little Rock and could not have been happier. The inn is warm and welcoming; guest rooms are large and luxurious. The owner, Susan, is gracious, vivacious and a first class cook. Guests are truly made to feel at home. Cold beverages and snacks are available along with a shared fridge and microwave just off the dinning room.

Breakfast was served in the dinning room on china with full silver place settings and linen napkins, in multiple courses and featured fresh fruit, an entree (with or without meat) and a sweet baked bread or pastry The food was wonderful and so was visiting with the other guests as well as Susan; it was a great start to the day.

The location is central to downtown as well as other cultural and shopping districts. Highway and airport access are minutes away. Every need is taken care of and service is delivered as needed and as requested.

We frequently stay in B & B's and being an interior designer, I am quite particular about decor and all the little details that make a stay pleasant. Rosemont, innkeeper and owner, Susan, was FANTASTIC. We stayed in the Dickinson Guest Room on the main floor and it was wonderful. Rosemont is beautifully and tastefully decorated, and Susan provides all the desired comforts - we had a most gracious welcome, enjoyed the coffee service in our room - including real china cups! The house is immaculate - clean, tidy, and warm. Generous snacks, including fresh fruit - a living room to sit and read in and breakfast was to-die-for delicious. We enjoyed a fabulous egg dish and homemade bread that should be against the law. If we re-visit Little Rock, we will re-visit the Rosemont B&B !!!

Our stay at Rosemont B & B is ALWAYS wonderful! We have stayed several times at different times of the year. The house beautiful and the innkeeper, Susan Maddox, is gracious and never intrusive. The garden is so peaceful and beautiful to just relax in.

Even when the house is full of guests you feel as though you are the only ones there!! Breakfast is fabulous with southern hospitality and Susan's attention to detail in making us feel comfortable and at home is beyond compare. We have stayed in many hotels but nothing comes close to the charm of this B & B. If you are looking for a great romantic getaway, this is the place to stay!
