CONCERTS,
SPORTS & FAMILY EVENTS
Located on the Arkansas River in North Little Rock just minutes away from
Rosemont, Alltel Arena seats 18,000 for sports & family events and
attracts such diverse concert performers as Alan Jackson, Neil Diamond,
Janet Jackson, The Gaithers, The Eagles & Cher. The Riverfest Amphitheater
is home to open air concerts with both covered reserved seating and festival
seating on the lawn. Events include everything from Cult Film Nights to
lavish fireworks displays to headliner entertainment.
GOLF
COURSES HIKING & WALKING TRAILS
Little Rock and North Little Rock boast numerous outstanding golf courses
open to our guests. We'll be happy to recommend a course and schedule
your tee time. Two of our favorites are about ten minutes from the Inn;
another is about a twenty minutes drive crossing the Arkansas River at
it's most picturesque point.
WALKING,
HIKING & WALKING TRAILS
The historic neighborhood around Rosemont is excellent for walking and
jogging. There are excellent walking trails and a Health Center just minutes
from the Inn. And, we are a short drive from some scenic Pinnacle Mountain
State Park, a 1,011 foot conical shaped peak overlooking the Arkansas
river. Below Pinnacle Mountain along the Little Maumelle River, is an
arboretum that includes a short barrier-free, interpretive trail.
PARKS
& PROMENADES
Little
Rock abounds in parks and greenspace. The downtown streets are lined with
trees, many that bloom throughout the Spring and Summer months. Numerus
parks offer wonderful opportunities for walking, jogging, sitting, picnicking,
and just resting your senses.
