When this charming structure was built in 1880 it was the original detached kitchen that served the main house. Upstairs, above the kitchen, was the cottage where the groundskeeper lived. He was also responsible for the homeowner’s two carriages and three horses. He was a valued employee and his accommodations reflected his position.

Today our Gardner’s Cottage has been updated with luxurious bedding, an oversized Jacuzzi tub for two, Central Air & Heat plus a radiant heat stove for extra warmth, Wi-Fi, and cable TV. The snug kitchenette has all you need to fix snacks and light meals on your own. The screen door and casement windows that open to let in the garden breeze are testaments to a gentler time as is your own private balcony porch overlooking the inn’s secluded garden. The garden entrance is yours alone and allows you quiet and privacy rarely experienced in a bed and breakfast setting ... you will never want to leave!
